Extracting water vapor from the air is very old technology, dehumidifiers and air conditioners have been doing just that for years. The common mechanics include traditional refrigerant systems, but other technologies are available such as thermo-electrics (Peltier) and thermo acoustics. Today however with the latest advances in filtration and Ultra Violet purification the water can now be collected and turned into the safest and purest water available on the planet. Even in places with the lowest humidity on earth there is still enough moisture in the air for the Aqua Star unit to provide abundant fresh clean water to those in need.

Air Filter:

This non-powered, self-charging  reusable electrostatic filter removes microscopic particles down to 10 microns in size, such as pollen, molds, bacteria laden dust particles.

Water Filter:

All Aqua-Star Series models use a disposable 1 micron carbon block water filter to remove microscopic impurities and chemicals that might contribute to bad taste and odor.

Ultraviolet Exposure:

After the water is filtered it receives a ultraviolet light exposure. This feature has a UV exposure three times that rate needed for over 99.99% kill of microorganisms.

Electrical Specifications:

The Aqua-Star series is available in most voltage and frequency requirements, and uses a standard office/house outlet.

Operating Features:

All Aqua-Star models are designed to operate with simple controls in either a manual or automatic mode. The automatic on/off operation works in conjunction with a humidistat and a thermostat. This automatic switch, linked to the humidity and temperature settings, enables the user to limit the periods of machine operation to the most productive hours of each day, thereby minimizing energy costs per gallon of water produced.

Smaller Aqua-Star models are designed to operate outdoors, in your office, or anywhere inside your home. When operated indoors, the Aqua-Star can help reduce air conditioning costs, replace a dehumidifier, and improve air quality.

Cost Savings:

The Aqua-Star is an attractive alternative to the logistics and expense of bottled water. Each model will produce one gallon of water for about 1.0 kilowatts. (The national average for electricity in the United States is 8 cents per kilowatt.) This is a significant savings over the cost of bottled water, with convenience and reliable quality not found with other methods or sources.
